Hincapie Sportswear developed the Devo Bib Shorts with direct input from its race teams. Riders have been wearing this bib for its race-proven construction, advanced fabric technologies, and body molding fit. Hincapie engineers use a combination of AT2 Tour Lycra Power and AT2 Transition Lycra to construct the Devo. Both of these materials are incorporated into the shorts because of their supportive, moisture wicking, and aerodynamic properties. AT2 Tour Lycra was used for the leg panels, as it's a polyester and Lycra Power yarn blend that provides a supple feel. The AT2 Tour blend ensures that you benefit from the smooth feel and wicking properties of polyester, while maintaining the supportive fit and aerodynamic edge of Lycra Power. Additionally, the weight of the fabric gives it compressive support that reduces muscle fatigue and helps promote positive blood flow. And while it's not enough to technically classify the Devo as a compression piece, the effects are still effective. Strategically placed, moisture-wicking AT2 Transition Lycra panels are used throughout the short to reduce surface drag. To keep the Devo from migrating when pedaling, Hincapie's sleek, no-elastic and no-gripper Dimplex Lycra leg bands securely and comfortable hold it in place. Hincapie's seamless Pro chamois was selected for the Devo due to its advanced anatomical shape, wicking properties, and extended coverage. The insert's outer-layer is constructed from a soft elastic fabric with both antibacterial and anti-static treatments in order to reduce friction and promote high moisture transport. Below this layer, breathable open cell memory foam inserts provide comfort by conforming to your body. The bib is constructed from Diamond Mesh to ensure plenty of breathability.
